To reduce the risk of coronavirus infection, we shut down the Health clinic and Chlamydia self-testing indefinitely. We evaluate the situation on an ongoing basis, and will reopen as soon as possible.

NB! If you suspect you may be infected with coronavirus, please call the municipality's corona telephone 75 59 33 10 (the phoneline is open every day from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.).

Helsestasjon - Health clinic

The Health clinic for students is open every Wednesday from 2 - 4. p.m.

At the Health clinic you can see a Doctor and get guidance on sexuality, birth control, abortion and sexual transmitted diseases. We offer examination and testing, and also free prescription for birth control pills.

It is free to visit the Health clinic. No appointment is needed, just drop-in.

Self-test of chlamydia

The Health clinic and Councelling service in Studentinord facilitates self-testing of chlamydia. You can test yourself on the test-toilets at Campus, or bring the test equipment home and take the test there.

General Practitioner (GP)

If you have the right to a regular General Practitioner (GP)/family doctor, you can find and register with your choice of doctor on helsenorge.no

Only students with Norwegian ID number are entitled to a GP. Students that don’t have a GP can use the emergency room when in need of medical attention.

Health center for youth

Bodø municipality also has a health center for youth. Here you can meet a Public health nurse, Physiotherapist and Doctor. The offer is free.
