It can be easier to express your feelings, and thoughts can become clearer, when you are walking outdoors. Many find the walk and talk consept to be a little less formal and scary than seeing a counsellor in an office. Also, a chat while walking could be what you need in a sedentary everyday student life.
You get fresh air, nice impulses from nature – AND the recommended 30 minutes of light exercise a day.
WHAT IS WALK AND TALK?
We meet outdoors and talk while strolling around for up to an hour in the Campus neighbourhood, nearby a park or hiking trail.
We can agree beforehand where to go, and you decide the topics for the talking. You can talk to us about anything, no topic to small or large. The service is free, as always, and confidential.
WHY GO FOR A WALK WITH US?
In addition to the terapeutic effect of mother Nature itself, walking side by side can be an ice breaker. For many it is easier to express oneself on private topics in less formal circumstances and surroundings.
Execise stimulates creativity which can lead us to see things in a new light and discover new solutions. An a bonus, endorphones, so-called «happy hormones», are released when you are moving about. All of this can help you ease off.
We look forward to seing you!
