Counselling via Teams or phone

If you prefer digital counselling, or the student counsellor on your campus has a long waiting list for on campus talks, you can book a video or phone session.

For many, life as a student can be challenging. Sometimes it helps to talk about difficult thoughts and feelings before they become bigger issues.

(If you have questions concerning practical matters about your studies, such as grading, semester registration or re-sit exams, you must contact a study advisor at Nord University.)

Counselling via Teams or phone

All our Student Counsellors are available for video sessions on Teams, independent of home campus, and some are also available on phone. We strive to keep the waiting list for sessions as short as possible.

We encourage you to try to book the Student counsellor at your campus first. If she or he is difficult to reach you can try one of the others.

Please download Teams before a session

If you book a video session it is important that you download Microsoft Teams before the session starts.

Microsoft Teams can be used for free by all Nord University students. Teams is a safe and convenient service for one-to-one chat and video conferences.

As a student you have access to the full version of Teams without cost.

Teams is covered by a specific data processing agreement for the higher educations sector in Norway, which guarantees the security of your data.

Read more and download Teams for students.
