We make student life easier

Studentinord is the student welfare organization for the students at Nord University, and The Norwegian Police University College (PHS) in Bodø. Our mission is to provide welfare services to the students on campus, to make the everyday life a little easier. We put the student first and foremost!

Here are some of our services

STUDENT HOUSING
Studentinord offers student housing in seven different cities where Nord University is represented - more than 1,800 units combined.

We offer secure and safe conditions, reasonable rent, and janitors and housing consultants available for your service. Living in a student home is probably the easiest way to get to know fellow students.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE
We run canteens at the campuses in Bodø, Mo i Rana, Nesna, Namsos, Steinkjer, Levanger and Stjørdal. Here we serve healthy and varied food at favorable student prices. Check out our salad bar!

We also have a selection of hot lunch menus and sandwiches. Our canteens are popular meeting places at the campuses. Welcome!

COUNCELLING AND HEALTH SERVICES
If you are in need of advice or guidance, you are welcome to contact the Counselling Service. You may talk about all kinds of student life challenges – from loneliness or heart breake to study techniques or practical challenges. We also offer councelling via Teams or phone.

As a student, you have access to a Health clinic to see a nurse or a doctor. The Health clinic is either at campus or in the city where you study.

You may also apply for a refund of health expenses from our health fund.

KINDERGARTEN
Our kindergartens have tailor-made solutions for students with children. We offer flexible opening hours during the exam period, we are open for applications for children under one year, and if your child gets sick on the day of your exam we can come to your home and take care of the child. We operate kindergartens in Bodø, Levanger and Steinkjer.

Student life is about more than lectures, essay writing and exams. We try to create conditions for a good social life while studying, through close collaboration with the student associations at the various campuses.
