Peer Support (Bodø)
Peer Support is a group of students who create simple and relaxed events for students in Bodø to socialize and meet other students.
By creating this safe space for students, the idea behind Peer Support’s events is that any student at Nord University is welcome to access the support they might need. Our aim is to make the environment safe enough for anyone to open up and talk to one of us if needed.
Reach out when you need it
Through these events, we wish to increase the importance of mental health and asking for help, but also encourage students to make contact when they need it. Sometiomes, a fellow student, who shares your life situation, can be the best person to talk to.
Who is peer support?
Peer Support is a student-run group, created by students for students. We're a bunch of friendly souls who want to make our university feel like a cozy, inclusive place for everyone. We achieve this through organizing laid-back events where you can take a breather from your studies and connect with others. We are always open to help anyone who might need it. Why are we doing this? It is simple, because we care.
Strictly confidential
The Peer Supporters work with the aid of the counsellors, however any information they receive is strictly confidential and will not be communicated to either the counsellors or the other Peer Supporters.
