Mørkvedlia student park is a new and modern student home, well facilitated for getting to know other students. In the four buildings you will find various common rooms meant for social activity, such as a TV room, a billiard playing room, study rooms, and large living rooms with kitchen facilities.

Smart home and high standard

Mørkvedlia consists of four buildings with a total of 604 residential units. The rooms have smart storage solutions and ample closet space.

1 bedroom apartments have their own kitchenette and private bathroom, while on a doublet, you share a kitchen and bathroom with one other resident. All the bedsits have private bathrooms and shared kitchens. The large common kitchens are fully equipped, and each resident has their own fridge and lockable kitchen cabinet. We have tried to do everything we can to make it easy and convenient to live here as a student.

Do you need to store your bike, car tires, or other stuff, you have the opportunity to rent a space in the basement. In the basement of each block you will also find laundry facilities with the possibility of reservation and SMS notification.

It is not allowed to have pets in our student facilities, and all student homes are non-smoking. Details about prices, size and content can be found under each housing type, see further down the page.

Short walking distance to everything you need as a student

From Mørkvedlia student park you have a short walking distance to Campus and to the student pub and meetingplace "Samfunnet". There are also fitness center, swimming pool, climbing senter - and sport facilities for handball, soccer, volleyball and gymnastics close by. An outside athletics track, an ice rink, several hiking paths and an outdoor fitness park is also just outside the student home.

In addition, you have walking distance to two commercial centers; Mørkvedsenteret and Hunstadsenteret. Here you find grocery stores, pharmacies, hairdressers and more.

Mørkvedlia student park has a panoramic view of the fjord Saltfjorden and the mountains Børvasstindene. The bus connections to Bodø city center and to the airport are very good, and Mørkved train station is a stone's throw away from the student park.

Apply early

It is not required that you are admitted to the University before submitting a housing application for the next semester. You are free to cancel the housing contract without notice for a given period, if you are allocated housing but not admitted as a student.
