Short-term housing Mo i Rana, Kaialundveien

Do you need accommodation in Mo i Rana for a shorter period for a study session, internship or work? If we have available student accommodation, you can rent from us.

If we have available student housing, these can be used for short-term stays by students, employees or others affiliated with Nord University.

Kaialundveien student housing

Kaialundveien student housing is ideally located in the city centre, less than a five-minute walk from Campus Helgeland. You will also find a cinema, theatre, concert venues, nightlife, swimming pool, gyms, train station, bus stops, yoga studio, dance studio, hiking areas, parks, grocery stores and, not least, several shopping centres with everything you need close by.

Apartments with private bathroom and kitchen

All apartments at Kaialundveien have a private bathroom with a toilet and shower, as well as a kitchen with a hob and oven. The rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, chair, lamp, wardrobe and shelves. A shared laundry room is located on the first floor and is easily accessible using the AppWash app.

All short-term rental apartments are equipped with basic kitchen utensils, bed linen and towels.

On the ground floor, there is a shared lounge suitable for social gatherings in larger groups. The lounge also has a TV and a kitchenette with some kitchen equipment for shared use.

Booking

For short-term stays, bookings must be made at least one week before moving in.

Bookings submitted during the weekend will be processed on the next working day.

NB: Please make sure to specify your desired length of stay in your application.

If you do not have a user account, you will need to create one. We also recommend downloading the Studentinord Housing app, so you receive notifications about important information regarding your tenancy.

Cancellation

Cancellations can be made via My Page (inquiries), or by email to bolig@studentinord.no no later than 7 days before the booking starts. Cancellations made later than this will incur a cancellation fee of NOK 500.

Cancellation and changes to group bookings: Bookings for more than 5 people are considered group bookings and are subject to different rules. Changes to the number of nights or rooms, or cancellation of the entire booking, must be submitted no later than 1 month before moving in. Cancellation of rooms after this deadline will be charged in full.

Check-in and check-out

Key cards can be collected from the key box at Kaialundveien.

You will receive the access code by email once your booking has been confirmed.

Check-in is available from 15:00 at the earliest, and check-out must take place by 10:00 at the latest.

If you require fresh bed linen during a longer stay, an additional fee of NOK 150 will apply.

The prices are valid from 1 September 2026. Prices may be adjusted annually in accordance with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

You will find your invoice on My Page after you have moved in. Download the Studentinord Housing app to receive a notification when your invoice is available.
