Short-term Housing Bodø, Nordavind

We offer short-term rent for students attending seminars or courses, and for employees and others related to the University. Depending on available capasity we also rent out to others - feel free to contact us.

The short-term rental offer is available at Nordavind, at Nord University Campus in Bodø. The building is connected to the University by a glass walkway so that you have direct access from the residence without having to go outside. There are frequent bus connections to the city centre.

Booking

Apply for short term rent at Nordavind here. Click on the flag in the bottom of the page for English. 

If you don`t already have a username you must create this. We also recommend that you download the app Studentinord Bolig, to get important notifications regarding your tenancy.

Order your stay in advance, preferably within 12 noon the day before your arrival. If you wish to order after this we recommend that you contact the housing consultants directly per email or phone: (+47) 476 20 800. Orders registered on weekends will be handled on the first following weekday.

cancellation

You may cancel your reservation per email. Cancellation must be made no later than 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before your arrival. Cancellations after this we will charged with NOK 500,-.

Cancellation and changes to group reservation: If 5 persons or more are included in one booking, it will be regarded as a group reservation. In this case other rules apply. Studentinord must be notified about changes to number of nights and/or rooms, or cancellation of the complete reservation one month before moving in at the latest. Cancellation of rooms after this deadline will be charged entirely.

Moving in and out 

New arrivals can move in after 3 p.m. and those departing must be out by 10 p.m. at the latest.

You may collect the keycard at the shared Nord university and Studentinord servicedesk on Campus at Mørkved. The service desk is open Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. – 3.00 p.m. 

If you can`t pick up your keycard before 3 p.m. it will be placed in the key cabinet in front of the main entrance of Nordavind. You will receive a code per SMS to the key cabinet prior to your arrival.

Prices in NOK. Prices are valid as of 1 January 2026. Price adjustment may occur annually according to the consumer price index.

Rent is paid from My Page after you have picked up your key. Download the app Studentinord Bolig to get important notifications regarding your tenancy. 

About the rooms

The rooms are approximately 16 m2, including a privat bathroom and kitchen. The rooms are equipped with small kitchen facilities with cooking hobs, a microwave with a grill function and all necessary equipment. Towels and linens are also included. The rooms have wireless Internet access. 

Food and beverage on campus

We also have self service for food and beverage by Alexandia on Campus, a very short indoor walk from your room at Nordavind. Read about Trustshop here.

The main canteen "Hovedkantina" offers a breakfast buffet from 7.45 to 9.30 Monday to Friday
