Housing rental for employees and PhD candidates at Nord University
In Bodø there are several options for long term contracts. Short term rent is available at all campuses.
Employees can apply for housing at Studentinord
As an employee or PhD candidate at Nord University campus Bodø, you may apply for housing through Studentinord, in agreement with the Housing Foundation at Nord University. At other campuses, housing though Studentinord is available for short-term rent.
Studentinord is the welfare organization for students at Nord University.

For all units, the rent includes furnishing, internet, security, and caretaker services.
Hammarlia
Hammarlia is located at Mørkved about 500 meters from campus, and with good bus connections to the city center of Bodø. At Mørkved you will find several supermarkets and Hunstadsenteret shopping centre.
From Hammarlia you have a great base for hiking trips in Bodø`s beautiful nature. The hiking trail to Hunstadtoppen peak is right outside the door.
The closest neighbour is Hunstad primary school. Studentongan kindergarten is located right next to Nord University.

Trollmyra
Trollmyra is centrally located at Mørkved, a short walk from Nord University. At Mørkved there are several supermarkets and Hunstadsenteret shopping centre. You also find a gym, swimming pool, climbing and gymnastics centre, athletics track and hiking trails close to the student home. There are good bus connections to the center of Bodø.
Trollmyra is within a short walking distance to Mørkvedmarka primary school. Studentongan kindergarten is located right next to Nord University.

Short-term rent
Studentinord offers short-term rent for students attending seminars or courses, and for employees and others related to the University. Depending on available capasity we also rent out to others - feel free to contact us.
